In 1997, the founder of źNew Horizon Coffee Company,
Robert Holden was seriously injured in an auto
accident, which left him disabled at the time. After
surviving the accident, he promised God that he
would do whatever it took to regain his health and
be good to all people and do work that would be
pleasing to Him.
Between
surgeries, he began roasting small amounts of coffee
with a home roaster for friends, church members and
families to keep himself busy and to keep his mind
off of the sheer amount of physical pain he
experienced. Customers and friends really began to
enjoy the small batch coffees and things just took
off!
Later, due to his disabilities, he received a grant
to purchase a commercial coffee roaster and other
equipment to roast and package coffee and the rest
is history! We never want to be the biggest
coffee roaster, just offer the freshest coffee
imaginable and to keep our focus on our customers
and assisting those who cannot help themselves.
This is our mission at źNew Horizon Coffee Company
We began selling our coffee at a local farmers
market, and to local churches and bed and
breakfast's in the area.
źNew Horizon Coffee Company established itself as a
company dedicated to offering extremely fresh, high
quality specialty coffee and hope you would sample
our limited, but extremely fresh offerings of our
coffee!
